Environmental issues are becoming increasing significant within the modern business world. Our Environmental unit keeps up to date with the complex legislation surrounding this sphere of law in order to advise on specifically environmental issues, and provide environmental law input into any transactions or disputes where this is required. The unit also draws upon the expertise of our litigation colleagues to assist on matters concerning criminal prosecutions and civil liability.

We advise many clients across the business spectrum on a range of transactions including liability for clean-up of contaminated land either as a separate issue or in the context of land or business transactions.

The Environmental Law team works closely with the Commercial Property and Health & Safety teams to ensure that specialist advice can be drawn upon to cover all aspects of your transaction.
